SECRETS TO A SUCCESSFUL RELATIONSHIP. 
(Teamwork). 
Hi everyone! Yesterday, we talked about communication as an important skill in making your relationship a success. Today, we will be talking about 'teamwork'. 

WHAT DO WE MEAN BY TEAMWORK? 

Teamwork is the process couples try to cooperate and use their individual skills to build up their relationship. It is like you both being the ship captain and staff captain of a cruise ship with the same direction and plan 

You can not be running solo in a relationship, that is an error on its own. A Man and a Woman must work together to make their relationship successful. 

Teamwork is one of the best recipe for a good relationship. If you and your spouse aren't a team, then you are just two people who live together but who aren't one in reasoning,having no right sense of direction when it comes to making decisions. 

When you both aren't working together as a team, every minor problems becomes great obstacles. You end up blaming and attacking each other rather than the problem. 

Remember the Bible counsel us in Matthew 19:6 "You are no longer two, but one flesh."
Phillipians 2:3-4 "Look out not only for your own benefit, but also for the benefit of others. "

HOW CAN I BE A TEAM PLAYER?
1.When faced with problems, don't say 'how can I solve this? ' instead say 'how are we going to solve this? '

2.Remember that there is no one who is right or wrong in a relationship. Let peace and love lead. 

3.Do not vies your possessions or achievements as 'mine', see them as 'ours'.

4.Discuss all your troubles with your spouse or partner. Don't keep secrets from him/her. Honesty is one major factor in teamwork. 

5.Discuss with your partner, the steps you guys can take to improve your relationship. Find out what your partner likes and dislikes and try to make him/her happy.
