WHAT YAHWEH WANTS.
There was a time I thought that Yahweh was to be there for me whenever I need Him. If I had a problem, I only needed to cry out to him and He Will come and rescue me.
I thought that I can live life in whatever way that pleases me and if I abstain from some sins, Yahweh will surely rescue me if I fall into trouble. I thought Yahweh doesn't need anything from me. But I was wrong.
Yahweh does want something from each and everyone of us. Yahweh wants us to love Him.. "Love Yahweh with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strenght."(mark 12:28-31).
We Christians nowadays have placed so much emphasis on Yahweh's love for us than our love for Him.This is wrong. Our love for Yahweh must be much more stronger than the love we have for ourselves, family, friends etc... even to the point of offering our own lives.
We can show Yahweh that we love Him by obeying His commands although they are not even burdensome since they have being laid down for our own good. (1 John 5:3).
Remember what Jesus said in Revelations 2:1-4,He said that He remembers all their good deeds and zeal for the truth, but He still have something against them; they have forgotten their first love-Yahweh.
Also, if you feel this text isn't important, here is what Yahweh's word said in 1 Corinthians 2:9 "..eyes have not seen, nor the ears heard, not the mind conceive what Yahweh has prepared for those who loves Him."
God wants you to serve Him not out of fear, but out of love. Remember that we have being bought with a price. We are not our own(psalm 100). We should serve Him who loves us.
Yahweh also wants us to trust Him and it is indeed a blessing to trust in Him too. Some people trust their wealth, position, power and man but a wise man puts his trust in Yahweh. Those that trust in Yahweh shall be as mount Zion that can never be shaken nor destroyed.
So dear, why don't we give Yahweh what He wants since He so freely gives us all that we ask of Him even more than we ask. Love Him today because He first loved you too.
